Young Business Association Will Become a Voice for Young Entrepreneurs and Industrialists: Altaf Hussain Randhaw

An important meeting of the Young Business Association was held at the Central Secretariat in Model Town, Lahore, with Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, attending as a special guest. The meeting was chaired by Altaf Hussain Randhawa, Chairman of the Young Business Association, and was attended by office-bearers of the association and a number of young business professionals.

The meeting discussed various proposals concerning the training of young entrepreneurs, a membership drive, the organization of business workshops, and measures to address the issues faced by the business community.

Addressing the meeting, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that the high cost of electricity, petrol and the rising prices of gas have created serious difficulties for the industrial and business sectors. He said that providing the business community with a conducive environment is essential for promoting economic activity. He stressed that effective measures must also be taken to provide young people with proper business training.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that young people can be given greater opportunities to become successful entrepreneurs by equipping them with knowledge of modern business requirements, digital marketing, technology and financial management.

He emphasized that a business model succeeds through integrity, transparency, hard work and trust. Alongside economic and business growth, he said, it is equally important to promote ethical values so that strong and sustainable business relationships can be established.

He further said that leaving the 68 percent youth segment of the country’s population at the mercy of circumstances is a national tragedy. Providing young people with opportunities for education, skills development, entrepreneurship and employment must be made a national priority. He stressed that the dream of sustainable economic development cannot be realized without empowering the country’s youth.

Altaf Hussain Randhawa, Chairman of the Young Business Association, said that the association would play its role in bringing young entrepreneurs together on a common platform, highlighting their issues, strengthening professional networking and providing guidance for business growth.

He said that the membership process for young entrepreneurs has already begun, with young professionals from various sectors being brought into the association.

He added that, for the first time, the Young Business Association has also included fast-food and café-sector business owners in order to provide broader representation to the business community. This initiative, he said, would enable young entrepreneurs from different sectors to come together on a common platform.

The meeting was attended by Executive Members of the Senior Advisory Council, including Farooq Alvi, Chaudhry Muhammad Afzal Gujjar, Muhammad Naveed Butt, Rana Manzoor Ahmad Khan, Muhammad Shahid and others.
