We Are Still Awaiting the JIT Report on the Model Town Tragedy: Naeemuddin Chaudhry Advocate
Petitions are pending before the Anti-Terrorism Court, Lahore High Court, and Supreme Court
Seeking justice is the right of the heirs, and delivering justice is the duty of the judiciary, says legal spokesperson

Naeemuddin Chaudhry Advocate, counsel for the heirs of the martyrs and legal spokesperson in the Model Town tragedy case, stated that even after 12 years, they are still waiting for the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report to secure justice.
He said that seeking justice is their right, while providing justice is the responsibility of the judiciary. The main case relating to the Model Town tragedy is currently under hearing in the Anti-Terrorism Court, while various related petitions are also pending before the Lahore High Court and the Supreme Court.
He further stated that the leadership of Minhaj-ul-Quran has engaged some of the country’s top lawyers to pursue justice in the case. He emphasized that they have neither stepped back nor can step back from their lawful struggle for justice.
He added that not only is the legal battle for justice for the martyrs continuing, but they have also never neglected their religious, organizational, and moral responsibilities toward the care and support of the martyrs’ families, even for a single day.
