Khurram Nawaz Gandapur Expresses Grief Over the Martyrdom of Maulana Muhammad Idris Tarangzai

Secretary General of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic martyrdom of prominent religious, political, and social leader, former Member of the Provincial Assembly, and Shaykh al-Hadith, Maulana Muhammad Idris Tarangzai.

In his condolence statement, he said that the deteriorating law and order situation has become extremely alarming, and such tragic incidents occurring repeatedly are raising serious concerns regarding the protection of the lives and property of the public. He stated that it is the constitutional responsibility of the provincial government and relevant institutions to fulfill their duties and ensure complete security for citizens.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that those involved in this brutal murder should be arrested immediately and awarded exemplary punishment in accordance with the law so that such incidents may be prevented in the future. He further stated that effective, concrete, and immediate measures against the increasing incidents of terrorism and target killings have become indispensable; otherwise, the situation may deteriorate further.

Meanwhile, Patron of Tehreek Minhaj-ul-Quran Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sahibzada Pir Saeed Hussain Qadri, and Deputy Nazim-e-Ala Minhaj-ul-Quran Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Chaudhry Irfan Yousaf, also strongly condemned the martyrdom of Maulana Muhammad Idris Tarangzai, describing it as an irreparable loss.

They stated that such cowardly attacks are part of a conspiracy to sabotage peace in society and must be thwarted at all costs. They demanded that those involved in the incident be brought to justice immediately and that emergency measures be taken to ensure the protection of the lives and property of the people.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that this tragedy is not only a shock for the bereaved family but for the entire nation. He expressed heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with the grieving family and prayed for the elevation of the departed soul’s ranks and for patience and strength for the bereaved family members.
