Khurram Nawaz Gandapur Expresses Grief Over Loss of Life and Property Due to Rains in KP
The Secretary General of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, has expressed deep sorrow and concern over the loss of life and property caused by recent heavy rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In his statement, he said that the loss of precious human lives due to the collapse of roofs and walls of houses caused by the rains is extremely tragic and alarming. He extended heartfelt sympathies to the affected families, stating that Pakistan Awami Tehreek stands in solidarity with them during this difficult time. He prayed that Allah Almighty grant the deceased a place in His mercy and bless the injured with a swift recovery.
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur further stated that reports indicate that 47 people have lost their lives so far in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while hundreds of homes have been damaged.
He emphasized that rescue and relief operations in the affected areas should be accelerated immediately, and that emergency assistance must be provided to the affected families. He also called for ensuring temporary shelter, food, and medical facilities for those who have been displaced. He added that volunteers of Minhaj Welfare Foundation should actively participate in relief efforts in the affected areas.
