Principles of justice, equality and tolerance at the heart of the Lahore Resolution: Khurram Nawaz Gandapur

Secretary General of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, in his message on the occasion of Pakistan Day, said that this day teaches the values of service to the nation and sacrifice.
He stated that March 23 reminds the Muslims of the subcontinent of their struggle, sacrifices, and the achievement of a great objective. It also inspires a renewed commitment to fulfill our responsibilities in making Pakistan a truly welfare-oriented, Islamic, and democratic state.
He added that the Pakistan Resolution was the name of an ideology, a vision, and a firm resolve, founded on the principles of justice, equality, tolerance, and Islamic values. Today, there is a need to implement these fundamental principles in both our individual and collective lives.
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur further said that Pakistan is a great blessing from Allah, and its protection, development, prosperity, and stability are a shared responsibility of all citizens. He emphasized that we must adopt honesty, truthfulness, and a sense of responsibility in our personal and social conduct to transform Pakistan into a model welfare state.
He concluded by saying that, remembering the sacrifices of our forefathers, we must play a practical role in the country’s progress, prosperity, and stability, and promote national unity.
