Khurram Nawaz Gandapur condemns incident of violence against senior lawyer

Pakistan Awami Tehreek's Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur condemned the incident of violence against senior lawyer Azhar Siddique Advocate, who has a distinguished record in protecting human rights, during a talk show. He criticized Kausar Kazmi for his unethical behavior, calling for strict punishment.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur further stated that TV channel owners and anchors should ban such immoral and uncivilized individuals from their programs. While everyone has the right to present their viewpoint, resorting to violent behavior is condemnable and punishable, he said.

The PAT leader emphasized that Pakistan Awami Tehreek strongly condemns the incident and fully supports Azhar Siddique Advocate in any legal action he decides to take. Such self-proclaimed, uncivilized spokespersons tarnish their parties' reputation rather than enhancing it. Political parties should hold such individuals accountable.

Meanwhile, senior leaders of the Awami Lawyers Forum, including Naeemuddin Chaudhry Advocate, Rashid Chaudhry Advocate, Sardar Ghazanfar Advocate, Shakeel Mamka Advocate, Asif Silhriya Advocate, and Pakistan Awami Tehreek's central information secretary Noorullah Siddique also strongly condemned the attack on Azhar Siddique Advocate and demanded strict action.
