PAT leaders call on KP Governor Faisal Karim Kundi

Leaders extended an invitation to the Governor for the 41st International Milad Conference

A delegation of senior leaders from Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) led by the president of PAT Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Subhan Allah Khan, met with the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, on September 11, 2024. During the meeting, the leaders invited the Governor to attend the 41st International Milad Conference organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran at Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore.

The delegation also briefed the Governor on the educational and welfare projects of both PAT and Minhaj-ul-Quran. Additionally, the leaders presented the Governor with a collection of works authored by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. They requested the Governor to issue directives to place Dr. Qadri's books in libraries of government colleges and universities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for students to study.

Governor Faisal Karim Kundi assured the delegation that he would soon issue a letter to ensure the placement of Dr. Qadri's books in educational institutions. He emphasized his commitment to providing maximum educational opportunities to the youth and encouraging them toward reading and learning. He further praised Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri’s contributions to educating youth about knowledge and peace.

The meeting was also attended by General Secretary of PAT KPK, Arshad Ilahi Khokhar, and other party leaders.
