Special message of President PAT on the Pakistan Day
Central President of the Pakistan Awami Tehreek, Qazi Zahid Hussain, said on the occasion of Pakistan Day that the dream of the implementation of the Pakistan Resolution will be realized with the 100% enforcement of the Constitution of Pakistan. He said that governance and supremacy of the constitution are essential for the real fruits of freedom to reach the masses. He said that even after 75 years of independence, millions of children do not go to school, millions of students do not have access to higher education opportunities, and millions of youth are unemployed.
The PAT President demanded that those who make Pakistan a problem should also be held accountable. He said that March 23 is the greatest day in our national history.
“March 23 is a day of renewing the commitment to adhere to the real objectives of the creation of Pakistan. Self-serving politicians have always prioritized personal interests over national interests and the welfare of the people,” he said.
Qazi Zahid Hussain said that the eradication of corruption, injustice, and raising ethical standards requires the same dedication that our ancestors showed on March 23, 1940. He said that Article 3 of the Constitution states that all avenues of corruption in Pakistan will be closed and everyone will be employed according to their ability and competence. He said that the implementation of this is not visible in this God-given country.
The PAT President said that Article 4 of the Constitution provides legal protection to every citizen, but this legal protection is not available to the common citizen in this country. He said that it is essential to familiarize the new generation with the Constitution.
“The new generation must be told why Pakistan was created and why so many sacrifices were made. It is crucial to save and run the country,” he opined.
He said that the nations that hold onto their ideologies are the ones that fight against adversity. He said that March 23 reminds us not to deviate from the great concept that the founder of Pakistan had envisioned for this state. He said that we must look to the future while reflecting on the past. We must understand that progress and prosperity lie in the supremacy of the Constitution and the law.
“It is a commitment to make the ideas of Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam a guiding light. This is the message of March 23, 1940.”
