PAT’s struggle is for welfare of the masses: Khurram Nawaz Gandapur

PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said that the PAT is the voice of the poor and downtrodden sections of society. He said that the people should vote for those candidates on February 8 who are aware of their problems and believe in the politics of public service. He said that the PAT candidates have the passion to serve the people by rising above any discrimination of caste, creed and color.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that the assembly of so many people in Vehari today is the proof of the fact that the people of the district have complete trust in the PAT candidates namely Chaudhry Naveed Jutt Advocate for NA 158 and Chaudrhy Iqbal Yusuf for PP 233. He said that it has been more than 75 years that a joke has been played with the country. He said that the PAT candidates would neither sell themselves nor bend before the power and money nor change their loyalties. He said that the politicians have always ignored the problems of South Punjab including Vehari. He said that it is an undeniable fact that the political leadership never made a serious effort to solve the issues of the masses. He said that the success of the PAT candidates on February 8 will in fact be the success of the people of Pakistan.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur made these remarks while addressing a big political rally in district Vehari. He said that the manifesto of Pakistan Awmi Tehreek is about lifting the standard of living of the masses and resolving their basic issues. He said that the struggle of PAT is to ensure welfare and well-being of the downtrodden sections of society and bring about improvements in their conditions.

Chaudhry Naveed Jutt Advocate, President of PAT South Punjab chapter and candidate for NA 158, Chaudhry Iqbal Yousaf, candidate for PP 233, Irfan Haider Arain, candidate for PP 231, the central, provincial and district office holders of PAT were present on the occasion. Among the PAT candidates, those who spoke in the public meeting included Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees, Chaudhry Irfan Yousaf, Rana Waheed Shahzad, Sheikh Farhan Aziz, district PAT President Nasir Advocate, Rao Dr Muneer, Chaudhry Saqlain, Ali Imran Jutt, and Malik Subhan.

In their speeches the PAT candidates thanked the people, workers and office holders of Pakistan Kissan Ittehad, all forums of PAT and MQI and the people at large for attending the public meeting in a large number.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur held a meeting with the workers and office holders of PAT Vehari chapter after the public meeting. He asked the workers to take the message of the party to every nook and corner in the district. He said that PAT candidates will achieve success in the elections throughout the country.
