No peace without eliminating the scourge of terrorism: Khurram Nawaz Gandapur
The nation can never forget the Peshawar APS tragedy. The sacred blood of the schoolchildren and their teachers continues to remind us of our duty to eliminate the scourge of terrorism from the country. The APS tragedy woke the nation from the deep slumber and highlighted the need for taking the fight to terrorists to establish durable peace in the land.
MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur expressed these views on the occasion of the anniversary of the Peshawar APS tragedy. He said complete peace could not be established without wiping the terrorists off the face of Pakistan. He said that bereaved parents who lost their children on this day have questions that are yet to be answered.
He said that it was in this month of December that the terrorists perpetrated an act of terrorism in Dera Ismail Khan where we lost 23 of our valiant soldiers. He said if we did not forge unity in our ranks and uprooted the support networks, we would continue to lose the best amongst us. He said that the peace-loving people of Pakistan disapprove of terrorism. He said that the nation stands by their armed forces in the war against terrorism.
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls of the martyrs in eternal peace and grant patience to the bereaved families.
