Social media the most effective means of mass communication: Khurram Nawaz Gandapur

PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has formally issued the notification of the appointment of Rai Sajid Hussain as the head of the social media working council, Hafiz Asif Joya as coordinator and Sikandar Awan as deputy coordinator of the social media council. On the recommendation of the central president of MYL, SMWC has endorsed the names of the office-holders.

Speaking on the occasion, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that social media is an effective source of communication for the publicity of the parties' manifesto and their course of action. He said that it is also the means through which education and moral and spiritual training can be imparted to the youth. He said that the enemies of Islam and Pakistani ideology are using the weapon of social media to bring a bad name to Islam and Pakistan. He said that such elements need to be checkmated.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has produced a team of ideologically committed social media activists in whose presence no one can dare indulge in mischief mongering. He said that we consider the protection of the faith and character of youth our prime responsibility.

Meanwhile, PAT secretary information Noorullah Siddiqui and Farrukh Shahzad have congratulated Rai Sajid Hussain, Hafiz Asif Joya and Sikandar Awan on assumption of new responsibilities. Those who extended their felicitations include PAT social media head Asif Gujjar, MWL social media head Ms. Ansharah, and MSM social media head Faraz Hashmi, Mansoor Awan, Shahzad Akbar and Shaukat Ibrar.
