Helping the jobless during the economic crisis an act of great piety: Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri
The Resources and Development Wing of Minhaj-ul-Quran International donated an auto-rickshaw to unemployed youth, thus enabling him to earn his livelihood.
Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, president of the MQI, gave the keys of the three-wheeler to Tariq Salman here on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that enabling someone to earn a halal livelihood is a great act of piety during these testing times. Talking of the negative effects of unemployment, he said not only the family of the jobless person but society as a whole is affected by the problem, which has assumed dangerous proportions during the Covid-19.
In support of his statement, MQI President quoted some reports on the prevailing law and order situation in the country wherein unemployment has been pointed out as one of the main reasons behind rising graphs of the crimes in Pakistan.
As the menace of joblessness is directly related to law & order and peace in society, Dr Hussain urged those bestowed with financial resources and prosperity by Allah Almighty to spare some of their resources for the unemployed people and help them earn their livelihood.
Nasrullah Khan, Tariq Khan, Muhammad Shahid Latif Qadri, Rana Muhammad Shakeel, Jawad Hamid, and Malik Shahim Ahmed Numberdar were also present on the occasion.
The Resources and Development Wing also distributed face masks among the faithful coming to offer Juma prayer at Jamy Shaykh-ul-Islam and among the staff of the MQI secretariat.
