PAT struggling to highlight the oppression of the present system
PAT arranged a seminar under the "change the system" slogan to celebrate Pakistan Day that was celebrated across the country on March 23. The speakers emphasized the need for change in the system to make Pakistan prosperous. Mian Rehan Maqbool, while speaking on the occasion, said that PAT under its inspirational leadership has waged a relentless struggle to highlight the objectives for which the country came into being. He said that massive sacrifices including those of lives in Model Town were rendered in the course of struggle. He said that it is unfortunate that our top legislative institutions are manned by political parties that do not subscribe to the agenda of reconstruction of Pakistan but to line their own pockets through ill-gotten money and launder money abroad. He said that PAT is ready to offer any sacrifice to rid the people of the scourge of exploitative system in light of the vision of Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
The Pakistan Day seminar was also addressed by Arif Chaudhry, Mian Abdul Qadri, Chaudhry Asif Gujjar, Prof. Akhtar Malik, Badi-uz-Zaman Bhatti, Abdul Kareem Kamyana, Mian Raza, Rana Tahir Saleem, Mian Asif, Mian Iqbal Sajid, Mian Amjad, Gulraiz Mahmood Akhtar Warraich, and Muhammad Sharif.
