PMLN is playing politics of dead bodies: Khurram Nawaz Gandapur
PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said that the PMLN plays politics of the dead bodies. He warned that if the fugitive racket was not reined in, it may lead to a blood clash. He said Rana Sanaullah conceives the plans of killings to promote and push the politics and agenda of the Sharifs and is a commander of an armed wing inside the N League. He said the wing operates through hired assassins and extortionist mafia, adding that several people associated with the PMLN have spoken about it.
In a statement, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that Rana Sanaullah planned the Model Town tragedy at the behest of the Sharif brothers. He said there is a likelihood that conspiracy of a major tragedy can be hatched whereby people are pitted against the state institutions. He said that the government will be in manifest error if it considers the protest movement of the PMLN as a political movement, stating that it can take a violent path at any time. He said the loyalists within the police department can ignite a bloody clash.
PAT Secretary General said that the PMLN and their supporters do not have any morality. He said when PAT staged a sit-in to demand the right of getting an FIR of Model Town tragedy registered in 2014, those very faces would trumpet the mantra of the supremacy of Parliament and describe the sit-ins as a conspiracy against the economy and the state. He said the same faces are trying their level best to undermine Parliament and destroy the economy through agitation today.
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur reminded that when the PAT used its democratic and constitutional right to protest, the PMLN government subjected the workers to a shower of bullets. The veils of veiled women were ripped apart and the innocent men, women, and elderly were riddled with bullets. He said that the PMLN's politics is based on oppression, violence and shedding of blood.
