Awami Lawyers Movement felicitates Lahore Bar Association on its election

Pakistan Awami Lawyers Movement, lawyers’ wing of PAT, has congratulated the newly elected members of Lahore Bar Association. Those who wished the elected body included Lehrasib Gondal Advocate, Naeem-ud-Din Chaudhry, MH Shaheed Advocate, Anwar Akhtar Advocate, Ghazanfar Advocate, and Ishtiaq Chaudhry Advocate.

In his congratulatory message, Lehrasib Gondal Advocate said the lawyer's community continues to stand united for the establishment of rule of law. He said the lawyers have always waged a struggle for supremacy of the Constitution. Naeem-ud-Din Chaudhry hoped the newly elected body of the Lahore Bar Association will struggle for the protection of the rights of all. Expressing his best wishes, General Secretary MH Shaheed Advocate said the new body would also take steps for the welfare of the lawyers’ community. He said they would come up to the trust that the lawyers have reposed in the officeholders.

The lawyer-leaders further stated the role of lawyers is critical to the dispensation of justice.
