Funeral prayer of elder brother of Khurram Nawaz Gandapur offered

The funeral prayers for Justice (r) Javed Nawaz Gandapur, the elder brother of PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, were offered in Peshawar. Sufi Muhammad Shafique, the renowned spiritual personality, led the funeral prayers. A high-ranking delegation of the PAT and MQI attended the prayers, whereas PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri made a special Dua after Juma prayers in Lahore.

The prominent personalities belonging to different walks of life who attended the funeral prayers included Chief Justice Peshawar High Court, Justice Qaiser Rashid, Justice Ruh-ul-Amin, former KP Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Saleem Nawaz Gandapur, and Qaiser Nawaz Gandapur. Relatives, friends, former judges and noted social and political personalities were also in attendance. After the news of the death came in, large number of the people condoled the death of Justice (r ) Javed Nawaz Gandapur with Khurram Nawaz Gandapur. They prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give patience to the bereaved family.

A delegation of the PAT and MQI Lahore chapters consisting of Rafique Najam, Jawad Hamid, Adnan Javed, Raja Zahid and Syed Amjad Ali Shah attended the funeral prayers.
