PAT to celebrate Defence Day in a befitting manner

Pakistan Awami Tehreek has decided to celebrate the Defence Day of Pakistan under the theme of ‘we have love for Pakistan’. PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur wrote a letter to the district, provincial and tehsil chapters of the party in this regard. He stated that the party will express its unflinching solidarity with the families of the martyrs who presented the supreme sacrifice of their life in the defence of the motherland. He said that the armed forces of Pakistan stand between independence and slavery. He said that the role of Pakistani military in safeguarding independence and territorial integrity has been incredible.

The PAT Secretary General wrote in the letter that the soldiers and the officers of the Pakistan military wrote glorious chapters of history with their blood. They also gave exemplary sacrifices in the war on terror and reversed the march of this scourge, which remains an unprecedented act of military strategy in modern times. He said that we have immense love for Pakistan and are proud of our armed forces.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur further wrote in the letter that floral wreaths should be laid at the memorials of the martyrs and Quran Khawani should be done. He said that banners should be hung to express solidarity with the armed forces. He said that the 6th of September has historic importance because on this day that the armed forces of Pakistan defended the motherland against an act of aggression by India. They gave a befitting reply to the enemy. They showed through their act that if there is unity of purpose, numerical superiority cannot defeat your resolve. He said that we have to reiterate our pledge not to allow the sacrifices of the martyrs go in vain.
