Security of superior court judges should be given to Rangers: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri
I strongly condemn the firing upon the residence of the Supreme Court’s honourable Justice Ejaz-ul-Ahsan. This is an attack on the State and the Supreme Court. Those who are behind this act can be unveiled through an ordinary investigation.

PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has strongly condemned the incident of firing at the residence of the Supreme Court Judge Mr. Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan. Terming the incident as brazenly and reflection of the rampant lawlessness, he said that it represents an attack on the constitutional institution of the Supreme Court. He demanded an immediate action against those involved in the incident, stating that the patrons of the perpetrators of this incident should also be brought to justice.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that without patronage and support of an organized gang, such a horrible incident cannot take place. He said that the Supreme Court is playing its active role for protection of the national interest and the constitution of Pakistan and this incident of firing is brazen and cowardly attempt to harass and intimidate the honourable judge of the apex court. He demanded that the security of the justices of the superior judiciary should be handed over the Pakistan Rangers, stating that the security of the Anti-terrorism court judge hearing Model Town case should also be made fool-proof. He said that the identity of those involved in the firing incident can be easily known through a bit of investigation.
The attack on the Supreme Court judge is an act of desperation by organised mafia. They want to intimidate the Supreme Court to stop it from performing its duties. The judges hearing the #ModelTownCase in the Anti-Terrorism Court should be given foolproof security.
