Looking towards judiciary for justice: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri
PAT leader Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that justice for the martyrs of Model Town tragedy is a debt as well as a matter of duty for every worker and leader of PAT and MQI including himself. He said that we are looking towards the judiciary for justice and hope what we will not be disappointed. He said that the whole nation saw the shedding of every drop of blood of the martyrs amid the showering of bullets on innocent people by the police. He said that four years have gone by but our wait for justice has continued to lengthen and those who ordered the police to commit this oppression were not called to account.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri stated this in a message of congratulations which was passed on to Asif Iqbal, the son of Shaheed Sufi Muhammad Iqbal, on his marriage. He prayed to Allah Almighty to bless this family that has stood its ground and demonstrated its love for the MQI.
Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, GM Malik, Fayyaz Warraich, Qaiser Nawaz Gandapur, Syed Amjad Ali Shah, Abdul Sattar Minhajian, and Hafiz Ghulam Farid attended the Walima ceremony of Asif Iqbal and gave him the gifts on behalf of Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the workers of the MQI are the asset of the organization. He said that the leadership always participants in the happiness and sorrow of the workers. He prayed for the departed soul of Shaheed Sufi Muhammad Iqbal and other martyrs. The MQI and PAT leaders also prayed for a blissful married life of Asif Iqbal.
