Nawaz Sharif a confused, corrupt character of politics: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri

PAT leader Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the corridors of powers which are manned by the corrupt, exploitative and predatory elite deserve to be locked out. He said that Nawaz Sharif is a corrupt, confused and suspect character of national politics. He said that it has been 28 years since we have been battling the incompetence and corruption of the political elite. He said that whatever facts he placed before the nation, are now the basis of decision of the courts. He said that the PAT led a struggle to highlight the importance and relevance of Article 62 and 63 and made people learn these provisions by heart.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri stated this while addressing a consultative meeting of the PAT yesterday. He said that the Chief Justice is getting those things done that remained neglected during the last five years. He said that the rulers who failed to provide basic facilities such as water, education and health, should look inwardly before raising finger on others.

Dr Qadri said that Allah Almighty has provided a rare opportunity to the nation to get rid of the corrupt and predatory elements. He said that such opportunities are available as long as the people are deserving of them and really committed to seeing the back of the corrupt rulers. He said that the nation should think big away from the immediate enticements. He said that when honest representatives are elected to the assemblies, the basic issues of the people will be resolved.

The PAT Chairman said that those who are targeting Chairman Senate are actually tearing their slogan of ‘respect for vote’ to shreds. He said that character assassination against the holder of the top constitutional institution should stop forthwith. He said that Nawaz Sharif’s ideology of revolution is an abortive attempt to stay on in power indefinitely and protect his ill-gotten money. He demanded immediate arrest of the killers of girls, Mubashra and Abida, who belonged to Jaranwala.
