Disqualified Nawaz Sharif threatening March against SC: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri

PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that disqualified Nawaz Sharif is making announcements to the effect of leading a march against the SC. He asked if every convicted and disqualified person has the same amount of freedom to spew venom against national institutions that has been afforded to the disgraced prime minister. He said that those who destroyed institutions administratively are now running a campaign to defame them. It remains to be seen as to the cause of giving undue concessions to the looters. He said that the disqualified clique is now openly challenging the state in meetings and making announcements to spread lawlessness. He said that the disqualification verdict is not disputed; rather it was given unanimously and was also endorsed by the remainder of the parliamentarians.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the ideology of the elite is to get power by hook or crook and then to use this power to create a mountain of wealth. He asked with what face and conscience those who bought costly London properties with the ill-gotten wealth have the gall to say that they have a clear conscience. He said that had their conscience been clear, they would not have presented the letters of the princes and rather preferred to submit money trail of their assets. He said that the kind of irrefutable proofs of corruption presented in the court against Nawaz Sharif, it is hard to find submission of a similar record and proofs against any other ruler in the world. He said that despite such a watertight and undeniable record, the courts gave them opportunities to clear their position instead of giving instant judgments. He said that instead of giving proofs of innocence in the court of law, the corruption mafia is instigating people to revolt and blackmailing the institutions. He asked how long will this façade continue, stating that the more the national plunderers get leeway, the greater the havoc will the country suffer. He said that it is perplexing to note the silence of the law whether the mafia shoots 100 of the people with live bullets and promotes the enemy narrative by bringing the national institutions into infamy.

The PAT Chairman expressed these views while talking to the senior party leaders at the central secretariat yesterday. He said that those who should have been behind the bars for corruption and depositing fake and fabricated statements are roaming around freely in the glare of the excessive protocol. He said that the remainder of the government of the disqualified person is protecting the corrupt leaders instead of ensuring to uphold the law and the constitution. He said that it is hoped that the decision of the LHC on the intra-court appeal regarding release of Justice Najfi Commission report will be announced during the current week and the nation will be able to see and recognize the faces of the perpetrators of the Model town massacre.

Commenting on the recent acts of terrorism in Peshawar and Quetta, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that it appears that terrorists are rearing their head again. He said that the civilian rulers who kept the National Action Plan dysfunctional for three years now seem prepared to totally scrap it. Their actions are pushing Pakistan to the period before December 2014 and the sacrifices the armed forces rendered in the war on terrorism are being sabotaged.

Dr Qadri said that the participation of International Milad Conference by hundreds of thousands of the people is a proof of the fact that the people of Pakistan will not accept any conspiracy against the law regarding the finality of the prophethood. He said that the governments spend their resources on well-being of the people and improving law and order situation but here is a government that has invested in spreading chaos and killed its own people in broad daylight.
