Addressing a hurriedly called meeting of the PAT Central Core Committee, Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that none other than disqualified Nawaz Sharif is behind the efforts to change the text of oath regarding the finality of prophethood. He said that these changes to the law were enacted with the support of the foreign powers in an effort to end the disqualification. He said that the ministers through whom the basis of faith was attacked are being protected instead of being sent home. He said that the disqualified ousted prime minister fears that if the main ministers are dismissed, they can reveal the name of the mastermind.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that it is demand of the whole nation that those who tinkered with the law regarding the finality of the prophethood should be sent home and meted out exemplary punishment. He said that it is not the question that the government withdrew the changes and restored the law, stating that the question at this point in time is that who is behind the whole idea of daring to change the text of oath regarding the finality of prophethood, why and at whose behest did he do it. He said that the responsible are being saved because the cue will lead to the powerful elite.
The PAT Chairman said that those who shed the blood of innocent people in Model Town have injured the feelings of the millions of Pakistani Muslims by attacking their faith. He said that instead of sending one or two ministers home, the government is plunging the whole country in the fire of lawlessness. He said that it has been our demand from day one that those found to be responsible for this blunder should be punished.
Meanwhile, PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said that the police should desist from firing bullets at the protesters. He said that they should remember that the way 124 police officials are in the dock for their role in the Model town case, they will also meet the same fate on accepting illegal orders.

Instead of dismissing a couple of ministers the government is pushing the whole country into lawlessness. It is our demand from day one that the responsible should be punished. This is the collective demand of the whole country. #Pakistan

Instead of accepting their crime, the rulers have resorted to their usual barbarism. #Pakistan
The question is not related to withdrawal of amendment but it is as to who dared to change the law. #Pakistan
