Present government protecting Sharif family: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri

PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that he has information that ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has sold his 3000-kanal estate for Rs. 15 billion and the payment will be received in London. They had nothing else in Pakistan earlier except power, which has also been taken away and soon the disgraced former premier will leave the country. Nawaz Sharif is insistent on completing the agenda of bringing the national institutions into disrepute while he is out of power after his failure to finish the same job while he was in power. It remains to be seen as to how institutions are bearing this looter and corrupt person.

Dr Qadri said that the present government continues to support its former leader and as long as he has his government in the centre and Punjab, conspiracies will not cease to happen against the national institutions. He said that both Nawaz and Shahbaz Sharif are two sides of the same coin, stating that the only difference is that they have different ways to act. He stated this while talking to senior leaders of the party via telephone.

The PAT Chairman said that Nawaz Sharif did not answer any question regarding the sources of his massive wealth in the court of law. He asked how come someone who was unanimously disqualified has the gall to address public meetings. He said that such looters should be behind the bar. He said that the central character in the business of loot and plunder remains hidden in London. He said that if they are honest, they should give the evidence of their wealth in the court. He said that this is a very cunning and shrewd lot that knows hundreds of ways to rob the masses. He said that they feel no qualm in addressing the same people whose wealth they looted. He said that together with the government, Nawaz Sharif has declared war on the state of Pakistan.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the planning for Model Town tragedy was carried out in Islamabad whereas implementation took place in Lahore. He said that it has been three and half years but the family members of the martyrs have not got justice. He said that Justice Baqir Najfi Commission report contains the names and addresses of the killers and once the report is published, many answers will be given. He said that despite request for putting the name of the ruling family on the ECL made by NAB, the corrupt government is protecting them. He said that Nawaz Sharif has raised the banner of revolt and it is to be seen when the law of the land gets into action against him.
