Why did you plunder the national exchequer? Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri
PAT Chairman Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the plunderer has got the definitive answer to his constant cry “why was I disqualified”, in the detailed judgment of the Supreme Court. Now is for global band of robbers to answer “why did you plunder the national exchequer”. The nation gave you mandate as sacred trust, why did you breach the trust. Those who filed false affidavit in SC should be ashamed of launching anti-judicial campaign.
Dr. Tahir Qadri posed three questions to the national institutions, demanding as to why the NAB and other institutions did not arrest the national plunderers, and why were their names not put on ECL. Even the SC showed leniency by not putting the perjurers behind the bars.
Dr. Qadri added that the time has once against proved that the name of Nawaz Sharif is synonymous with fraud, dishonesty, and mendacity. The detailed judgment of SC has removed whatever ambiguity there was about Nawaz Sharif’s involvement in corruption. Now only the dishonest will stand behind him. He further noted that the honourable SC has rightly pointed out that Nawaz Sharif fooled the public, parliament and the court, filed false affidavit and concealed his assets. The salary of six years was Nawaz Sharif’s asset.
PAT Chairman said if Nawaz Sharif considers himself innocent, he should prove it in the trial court. He said that we are fervently praying for the speedy disposal of our cases and want the speedy trial of Model Town judicial commission report, it is matter of great surprise that Nawaz Sharif and his cronies are grousing that deadlines are being given for the speedy disposal of their cases. It is important to note that NAB rules bind the references to be decided within the time-span of thirty days but, strangely enough, 180 days are being granted in the present case.
Lashing out at Nawaz Sharif, Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri said that as Nawaz Sharif’s corruption-smeared face has been unmasked, and the day is not far when perpetrators of Model Town would also be in the dock.
