Indictment based on facts. No money trail with Sharifs: Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, central PAT leader and the Chairman of Supreme Council, has said that it has been one year since the Sharif family has been asked to explain its position on the allegations contained in the charge sheet and they failed to offer any cogent response. He said that the charges mentioned in indictment are correct and asked the Sharif family to prove their innocence in the accountability court instead of making noise here and there. He said that there is a vast difference between press conferences, public speeches and the court proceedings. He said that those making a clamour about human rights should tell as to where morality, democratic norms and human rights were when 100 innocent people were shot at and 14 of them were murdered in broad daylight.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri made these remarks while addressing the Central Working Council meeting of the party. Those present on the occasion included Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, GM Malik, Rafique Najam, Syed Altaf Hussain Qureshi, Jawad Hamid, Sajid Bhatti, Rana Idrees, Sohail Raza, Ms. Farah Naz, and Irfan Yousaf.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that societies that discriminate between the weak and the strong are destroyed, adding that the biggest reason of our failures and decline is discriminate use of law.

Reacting strongly to the statement of Punjab Chief Minister about NAB, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that those known for imparting lessons of corruption to NAB have the gall to say that the accountability watchdog is corrupt. He said that when NAB has taken action against the corrupt elite, they have started a campaign against it. He said that NAB kept its eyes shut during the past 15 years. So much so the former NAB Chairman did a great favor to the Sharif family. He neither ordered arrest of Nawaz Sharif nor put his and his family’s names on ECL that he was authorized to do under the law.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur asked the Punjab Chief Minister not to speak against his benefactor. He said that we are happy that the powerful are being held accountable for the first time and it will be in the interest of the masses. He said that if the system of justice showed any leniency or the accountability watchdog shut its eyes, it is hard to calculate the extent of damage that the nation will suffer. He said that a commission or a body that questions the Sharifs on their killing of innocent people or heaps of wealth, they start vilification campaign against it.
