PAT congratulates Pakistan army on rescuing Canadian family
PAT spokesperson Noorullah Siddiqi has said that the officers and soldiers of Pakistan army deserved to be appreciated on rescuing the Canadian family of five that remained in captivity for five years. He said that the release of the hostage family from the captivity of Haqqani network has increased Pakistan’s prestige in the eyes of international community. He said that the incident of rescue has also proven that the people and institutions of Pakistan hate every form of extremism and terrorism and are playing their role in eliminating terrorism as part of their international commitments.
The PAT spokesperson said that the Pakistani military and the people do not have any kind of expediency when it comes to respecting sanctity of humanity without any discrimination and will not allow anyone to use Pakistan’s land against anyone. He said that the terrorists lose any opportunity to spoil Pakistan’s relations with the outside world but added in the same breath that the armed forces of Pakistan along with the backing of the nation will continue to fail all such conspiracies.
Noorullah Siddiqi said that we are happy that rescued family safely reached their country. He said that Pakistan has suffered physical losses of 73000 men, women and children in the war on terrorism. He said that the armed forces and the people of Pakistan will continue to fight terrorism till it is completely eliminated.
