Nawaz Sharif wants to subordinate military & judiciary: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri
PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the idea of a civilian supremacy conjured up by the thrice ousted Prime Minister is to subordinate the military and judiciary. He said that after getting ‘mandate’, he gets busy in conquering the apex court and the national security institution. He said that Nawaz Sharif should understand now that Pakistani politics does not need a corrupt and dishonest person. He said that the former disqualified PM has been trained in picking up fights but added in the same breath that he is going to hurt himself in the latest round.
Dr Qadri said that the real worry of Nawaz Sharif is Hudabiya Paper Mills and Model Town tragedy cases, for he knows that he will get punishment in both of them. He said that upon appearance of Justice Baqar Najfi Commission report, the people will forget Panama case. He said that the ruling family has been held accountable because of Divine intervention. He said that he wants all political parties to get united on the agenda of eliminating corruption. He said that the country has got a rare opportunity to be on track and it should not be lost at all.
The PAT Chairman said that the Sharif family has caused a huge loss to the country. They set up records of corruption and violated the political morality packing. He said that whatever has been revealed is just tip of the iceberg and a lot more is yet to be exposed. He said that the people have not only accepted the Supreme Court verdict but also distributed sweet. He said that the people know the reality of historic welcomes accorded to those in power. He reminded that the memory of October 12, 1999 is still fresh in minds, arguing that the day he was ousted, not a single protester came to the road to protest.
