Nothing concrete will come out of Panama case: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri
PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that based on what has happened during the proceedings of the Panama JIT, it is his analysis that nothing concrete will come out of the process and he is not happy with this analysis. He said that the current rulers ordered firing of live bullets at 100 of our workers, martyring 14 of them mercilessly. He said that no one will be happier than the PAT that these rulers are held accountable for their actions, declared disqualified and sent to jail but all signs indicate that everything has been bought. He said that it is a drama and a joke with the nation, adding that nothing concrete will come out.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the clean chits to be given to the characters that appeared in the Panama have been prepared and those who are not even stakeholders will get the blame so that all sides remain happy.
The PAT Chairman expressed these views while talking to media at the Heathrow airport in London before his departure for Egypt. The leaders of PAT UK and London were also present on this occasion. He said that proceedings of the JIT are taking place in closed room. No one exactly knows as to what is going on; what conversations take place; media and lawyers are not allowed inside and the JIT members do not say anything afterwards. Those called for investigation come out after three/four hours, speak to the media and churn out stuff according to the script. It is a unilateral chat where even media men are not allowed to ask questions.
Dr Qadri said that the interviewee tells as to what questions were asked and what their responses were, adding that no one saw or heard questions being asked and the answers being given. He said that a drama is being enacted and the whole nation is being fooled in the name of accountability. He said that who were to speak against the decision of the JIT have been hushed up, leaving them with no option but to stay quiet. They will say the same thing that they have been led up the garden path once again.
