PAT symbolizes change & revolution: Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri
While addressing the emergency meeting of Advisory Council, PAT Chairman Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that there was dual law in country, the accused murderers of Model Town incident were roaming scot-free with official protocol and Jamshed Dasti, the elected MNA, was imprisoned in jail with fabricated charges of incendiary speech. He added that Prime Minister of Pakistan passed very derogatory and provocative comments against all constitutional institutions including Supreme Court, and the national media broadcasted each and every words he uttered. If there was supremacy of law in country, why the PM, the ministers and the leaders of ruling party who commit contempt of court on daily basis were not being held accountable, he wondered.
Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Basharat Jaspal, Fiaz Warraich, Reham Maqbool, Central Secretary Information Noorullah Siddiqui and others participated in the meeting.
Dr. Tahir-u-Qadri lamented that if Jamshaid Dast had been the representative of feudal lords or industrialists, the members of law enforcement agencies would be protecting his home instead of apprehending him. He noted that the founders of making false cases, the political victimization and harassment of opponents through Thana culture were the incumbent rulers. They would be accountable for every act of oppression not only the day after judgment but in this world also, he warned. He manifested his belief in the unwavering commitment of PAT workers that they would continue to fight the corrupt system to their last breadth. The PAT symbolizes the change and revolution; the matchless sacrifices the PAT workers had rendered, would not go in vain, he noted.
Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri vowed not to stop the movement until the murderers of Model Town Incident met their humiliating end, while noting that the barbarities of Model town Incident were enough to hang the culprits. The participants of the meeting prayed for the deceased and injured of Ahmadpur Sharqia incident.
A resolution, passed on the occasion, demanded the release of Justice Najafi report and strongly condemned the political victimization and harassment of Jamshed Dasti.
