Clean, honest leadership builds nations: PAT Secretary General
PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said that the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has failed to respond to questions of the masses on the permissibility and legality of his means of income during the last nine months. He said that there is a court of people and Allah Almighty where no ToRs or Commissions are required to hold the corrupt accountable nor is the letter of any Qatari prince helpful. He said that nations are not made with the building of motorways and bridges but with the clean, honest and credible leadership. He asked what good are motorways that make the citizens more indebted.
The PAT Secretary General expressed these views while talking to senior party leaders yesterday. He said that we need a kind of justice system which can dispense justice on the basis of equality without taking the positions of the people into consideration. He said that lack of justice in the Model Town tragedy, Panama and News leak scandals have proven that the current system is protecting the corrupt and universally known offenders. He said that the Prime Minister should act upon what he said during his address at the Kitas Raj today. He said that the culture of putting a price tag on loyalty of people and character assassination was started by the rulers themselves.
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that nations become honorable in the comity of nations by eradicating poverty, decreasing dependence on others and cultivating self-respect. He said that the Prime Minister who said all the nice things about poor children today made properties of worth billions of rupees out of money meant for the youth of the country. He said if the Prime Minister is so much concerned for the future of the youth and children, then he should return all his wealth stashed abroad.
