Seven months on, funeral of Panama leaks nearing: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri
Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the rulers have succeeded in passing seven months without much fuss over the Panama leaks inquiry demands. He said that funeral of the Panama affair seems to be in sight. He made it categorically clear that the Qisas movement is on track. He said that he has got the air ticket for his journey back home and only the timing of the start of the second round of the movement is left to be settled.
Referring to the Panama leaks, Dr Qadri said that the lawyers of PTI and PM Nawaz Sharif are the partners of the same law firm and both of them will share the fee between themselves. He said that it is not difficult to establish an opinion about accountability in this country. He said that many a commission was set up in the past but no results came out of them. He said that he observed the Model Town Commission from very close quarters, adding that the findings of such commissions are closely tied to the desires and will of the rulers.
The PAT Chairman said that the Justice Baqar Najfi-led Commission on Model Town massacre held the Punjab government directly responsible it its report. He said that we have been in the court of law for many months to get a copy of the report but the same has not been provided so far.
He said that the rulers are likely to get clean chit because there is no law in the country which can hold the rulers to account. In an interview, he said that the workers of the PAT are as determined as before, adding that they are confident about justice. He said that there will be second round of the Qisas movement. He said that he looks at workers as their father and does not want to plunge them into difficulties for no reason. He said that the PAT is the only political party whose workers are the most organized from central to basic level structure.
