MQI struggling for terror-free Pakistan: Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri
Addressing the Executive Council meeting of Lahore, Chairman of MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that MQI is struggling for Pakistan free of stains of terrorism and extremism. He said that the MQI workers rendered exemplary sacrifices to change the corrupt system peacefully and for establishment of peace. He said that we have now started countrywide peace initiative to eliminate terrorism from the country and for decisive success of the Operation Zarb-e-Azb. He asked the youth to become peace ambassadors and play their role in promoting Islamic message of love and peace.
Senior leaders Ahmad Nawaz Anjum, Major (r) Muhammad Saeed Rajput, Hafiz Ghulam Farid, Chaudhry Arif, Noorullah Saddiqi, and the office holders of all towns of Lahore attended the meeting. Tributes were paid to Irshad Tahir, Amir of MQI Lahore, for his excellent services. The Chairman of the Supreme Council announced to confer on him gold medal and appreciation certificate. Matters relating to reorganization of the MQI Lahore chapter came under discussion. Dua was made for martyrs of Model Town, Charsadda University and Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said in his speech that the reform of the justice system is of critical importance for establishment of durable peace in the country. He said that as long as injustice and oppression continue to rule the roost, terrorism and extremism will continue to take birth. He said that PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has undertaken valuable research work for character building of the youth, promotion of peace and undercutting the roots of ideology of terrorism. He said that it is as a result of his efforts that bold and resistant voices are emerging against terrorism and extremism. He said that together with peaceful and educated youth of Pakistan, we would defeat the veiled and not so hidden supporters, promoters and perpetrators of terrorism.
