Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri welcomes lifting of sanctions on Iran

PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has congratulated the people of Iran on the lifting of sanctions and becoming part of international economic system. He said that Islamic brotherly country braved inhospitable conditions and sanctions with fortitude and courage. He said that it is his prayer that every country of the Muslim world should be politically sovereign and economically powerful so that it is able to play its leading role in the international politics and the Islamic world may be able to pool its collective resources together.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri further said that some powers are bent on sabotaging the world peace by keeping the Muslim countries pitted against one another. He underlined the need of unity to overcome these conspiracies. He said that as long as the Islamic countries do not forge unity in their ranks, the terrorists and mischievous elements will be able to exploit the situation to their advantage, adding that such a situation will result in shedding of blood. He said that some terrorist groups are busy in inflicting havoc on the humanity in the garb of Islam. He said that the Islamic countries should make their efforts meaningful to eliminate such elements.
