Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri meets Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, offers condolences to him
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of MQI Supreme Council, visited the residence of former Prime Minister of Pakistan Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani yesterday and expressed his condolences to him over the death of his nephew, Syed Asad Murtaza Gilani, who lost his life in stampede in Mina. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in peace and grant patience to the bereaved family on this irreparable loss.
Senior PAT leaders Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Major (r ) Muhammad Saeed, Nasrullah Khan, Shoaib Khan, and Shahid Latif accompanied the Supreme Council Chairman.
Dr Hassan further said that the whole Islamic world is in deep grief over the Mina tragedy. He said that more than 100 Pakistanis lost their lives in the stampede. However, there are no information about some of the missing Pakistanis so far, which speaks volumes about apathy and incompetence of the government and foreign office, he added.
