Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri grieved over death of Grand Mufti of Syria Shaykh Asad Muhammad Saeed As-Sagharji
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has expressed his deepest sense of grief and sorrow on the passing away of the Syrian Grand Mufti Shaykh Asad Muhammad Saeed As-Sagharji. He said that the Islamic world has been deprived of a religious scholar par excellence, Hadith scholar and true lover of the Holy Prophet (SAW) as a result of his death. Paying tributes to the scholarly services of the late Grand Mufti, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that he was an established authority on the Hanfi jurisprudence and his whole life was spent in research and teaching. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give him high station in paradise.
Meanwhile, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri and Sahibzada Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani have also expressed their grief and sorrow on the death of the Grand Mufti of Syria.
