PAT Youth Wing takes out ‘Long Live Pakistan Rally’ on Independence Day
‘Long Live Pakistan Motorbike Peace Rally’ was taken out from the Lahore Press Club to Minar-e-Pakistan in connection with Independence Day celebrations on August 14. Attended by the hundreds of youth, the motorbike rally passed through the Mall Road, Nasir Bagh, and Data Darbar to reach the historic Minar-e-Pakistan. The participants chanted passionate slogans to express solidarity with the Pakistan military and pay tributes to the founding fathers. They were holding flags and banners with pro-military slogans written in them.
Addressing the participants, Haji Furrukh, PAT Youth Wing Lahore, said that Pakistan came into being due to dynamic and exemplary leadership of the Quaid-e-Azam and sacrifices of the Muslims of the sub-continent. He said that it is both a day of celebration and reflection, adding that all of us would have to think whether today’s Pakistan is realization of dreams our forefathers. He said that the PAT Youth Wing is busy in the struggle for elimination of social ills along with public awareness.
The Youth Wing leader said that the system of deterrence and punishment will have to be made effective to stop the Kasur scandal-like incidents from recurring. He said that there is no space for any impurity and evil act in the Quaid-e-Azam’s Pakistan. He said that it is due to phenomenal success of the Pakistan military in the Operation Zarb-e-Azb that the whole nation is celebrating the Independence Day celebrations free of any fear from Fata to Karachi.
Hafiz Shoaib Tahir, Osman Aslam, Umar Qadri and others also spoke on the occasion.
