PAT to serve legal notice on Rana Sanaullah for his allegation of a deal
Pakistan Awami Tehreek has decided to start legal proceedings against the Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah for making baseless allegation of a deal with the government. A legal notice will be served on him for this purpose.
PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur made this announcement after meeting senior lawyers and legal experts of PAT. He said that Rana Sanaullah is a liar and a cunning person. He is the main killer in the Model Town tragedy and knows for sure that jail is his ultimate destination sooner or later.
The PAT Secretary General said that Rana Sanaullah was not part of dialogue process at any level. He said that none of the federal ministers with whom negotiations were conducted during the sit-in can say such a thing. He said that if Rana Sanaullah has even a bit of honour, he should reveal the details of the deal before the nation; otherwise PAT would force him to do so through the legal notice. He said that the hundreds of PAT workers are still undergoing trial on the fake cases registered under the terrorism clauses, adding what kind of deal it was where we failed to get the fake cases against our innocent workers withdrawn. He said that more than 40 cases were registered against PAT chief Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri.
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that the Punjab Law Minister is a conspirator who is responsible for Model Town carnage in which 14 people lost their lives and around 100 sustained serious injuries. He said that Rana Sanaullah has been flabbergasted by the criticism heaped on the fake JIT report and out of nervousness, he is making baseless allegations.
