PAT to contest GB polls on electoral sign of ‘moon’
Pakistan Awami Tehreek will participate in the elections of Gilgit Baltistan on the electoral sign of ‘moon’. PAT has fielded its candidates for eight constituencies, whereas it has decided to put up joint candidates for remaining 16 constituencies in collaboration with the like-minded parties.
This was stated by the PAT spokesperson here today. The spokesperson made it clear that short span of two months in which the people of Gilgit-Baltistan have expressed their extreme love for Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri, shows that PAT has become the largest party of this beautiful region. He said that the sun of June 8 will emerge with the news of PAT’s victory in GB polls, adding that people here would reject the corrupt and incompetent rulers through the power of ballot. He said that PAT will put GB back on trajectory of socio-economic progress by defeating the local elite, which has been usurped the rights of the people.
