Dr Raheeq Abbasi leaves for Gilgit-Baltistan on a weeklong tour
PAT President Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi left for Gilgit-Baltistan on a week-long important organizational visit. The senior leaders of PAT and MQI GB including Abid Hussain Astauri, Muhammad Taqi warmly received Dr Abbasi at the Gilgit Airport along with leaders and workers of religious and political parties. Sajid Bhatti and Allama Farhat Hussain Shah and other leaders are also with Dr Raheeq Abbasi during this visit.
During his stay in GB, the PAT President would hold important meetings with the like-minded parties in connection with LG polls and exchange views on matters of mutual interest and prevailing political situation in the country. He will visit a number of areas of Gilgit-Baltistan and address workers convention there.
Talking at the airport, Dr Raheeq Abbasi said that the people of Gilgit-Baltistan are eager to catch a glimpse of PAT chief Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri. He said that PAT will take active part in the upcoming GB polls with full preparations and prove that this beautiful area is the fortress of PAT. He said that the books of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri will be translated in various languages spoken in GB so that the people living here could benefit from knowledge of the world-renowned scholar on various subjects.
The local leaders apprised him about the organizational network of PAT in the region and sought his guidance. It is also pertinent to mention here that Dr Abbasi will also launch reorganization and membership campaign of PAT in GB in addition to inaugurating the offices of the party in different areas.
