Impossible to change date of revolution day: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri
PAT leader Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that it will not be possible to change the date of revolution day. He asked the nation to wait, saying that he would soon be announcing the date. He said that the days of the rulers in power had been numbered and the end of their power was writ large on the wall. He said that following the call for revolution, the looters would be out of power. He said that the record of police stations was being changed, adding that everyone knew that it was being done on the orders of younger Pharaoh of Punjab. He said that one mosquito was enough for Punjab’s Pharaoh.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri stated this while addressing thousands of PAT workers from Rawalpindi division in the party’s secretariat. He said that having been rattled by people’s expected uprising, the government was trying to put pressure by probing the financial matters of MQI and PAT. He said that the nation was justified to ask the rulers whether fetching money into Pakistan from abroad was a crime or taking money abroad out of Pakistan was a crime. He asked as to why Federal Board of Revenue, IB and FIA did not take notice of this.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri asked whether killing 14 innocent citizens and injuring over 100 unarmed people with live bullets was a democracy? He asked whether the Constitution of Pakistan allowed the mass killing of the citizens? Does the Constitution say that the FIR of the relatives of those killed should not be registered? He said that the Chief Minister did not even offer to resign on moral grounds.
Dr Qadri said that the Articles of the Constitution that guaranteed conferment of rights on the people were suspended for all intents and purposes. He demanded that the rulers should be proceeded against under Article 6 of the Constitution.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that revolution was a voice of 180 million Pakistanis and it was bound to come. He said that the blood of 14 martyrs was calling out that today’s Mussolini and Hitler would have to give Qisas for every drop of blood. He said that they would not be able to save their power by killing innocent poor people. He said that those who destroyed the neighbourhoods of the poor would fail to protect their palaces. He asked the nation to prepare for revolution, further saying that the rulers would not be able to proceed for Saudi Arabia now.
