We would stand with Qadri: Chaudhry Shujaat
Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) President and former Prime Minister Senator Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that after the Lahore incident, if Professor Dr Tahirul Qadri wanted he could put the whole country on fire but he had shown patience and tolerance. "Professor Qadri has advised the protestors against this bloody activity to remain peaceful and preferred his destination of revolution," Shujaat said, adding.
"The PML-Q has adopted Qadri's mission, who was working with good intentions for bringing revolutionary reforms." He said, "We should also support Professor Qadri with good intentions, we were fully with him in his this mission, whatever would be his decision we would stand with him."
Further, Shujaat condemned action by the Punjab government on being afraid of return home of Dr Tahirul Qadri was condemnable. He said barriers were put up at Dr Tahirul Qadri's residence Minhaj-ul-Quran on the orders of the High Court and removing of these barriers was cowardly act. He said blood of those martyred in this action was on the head of the government and beating up elders, women and children and firing on them was very low act.
