UK: Renowned TV anchor Syed Bilal Qutab visits MQI LONDON Centre
A leading Pakistani TV anchor and scholar, Syed Bilal Qutab from Sama TV, visited the Minhaj-ul-Quran International London Centre on invitation from MQI London on Sunday 8th December 2013. In his brief visit, Syed Bilal Qutab praised the work of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri against terrorism, extremism and for promotion of peace, love, brotherhood, harmony and tolerance in society.
He said that he admires Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and listened to his press conferences and speeches regularly since 1980s for his interpretation of Islam. During the meeting, different subjects were discussed and the executive committee asked different questions to the esteemed guest. There was a special discussion upon the subject of the long march held under the leadership of Dr Muhammad Tahir ul Qadri, in which people turned up to hundreds of thousands from America to Australia.
Syed Bilal Qutab also visited Minhaj bookshop and showed his keen interest in Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri’s books. He was then presented gifts containing Dr Qadri’s books. Dawood Mashadi, Director Minhaj Welfare Foundation, briefed Syed Bilal Qutab on different welfare projects undertaken by MWF in different countries. Prominent members of the Executive Committee including Sohail Butt, Dawood Mashahdi, Allama Muhammad Zeeshan Qadri, Muhammad Naveed Qadri, Haji Niaz Ahmed and other Minhaj-ul-Quran worker were also present in the meeting. The evening ended with an informal dinner with the guest.
