Working for betterment of Pakistan our national duty; Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz
Pakistan’s ideological and territorial frontiers are faced with unique set of challenges, never witnessed before in 66 history of the country. In these circumstances, every citizen is duty bound to work for betterment of Pakistan and play his/her role accordingly. Every section of society including the youth and students would have to become active to save Pakistan from being hijacked by extremist forces. We would only be able to give a developed, peaceful and prosperous Pakistan to the succeeding generations if we acted on time. PAT’s public awareness campaign would culminate in the form of real and durable change.
These views were expressed by Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, central President of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, while addressing a seminar titled ‘Iqbal and today’s Pakistan’ organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League on the eve of Iqbal’s 136th birth anniversary. Central President of MYL Shoiab Tahir, Ateeq Chaudhry, Haroon Sani, Asmat Ali and a large number of youth attended the seminar.
Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz said that we violated the principles given to us by our forefathers and that explained why we were confronted with multiple crises. He said that we needed to awaken the spirit of oneness to fight off the challenges in an upfront manner. He said that the message of Allama Iqbal was all the more relevant today and we should not waste any more time to be connected to him for revival of our national spirit.
