MYL reaffirms its commitment to change
President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League, Shoiab Tahir, has asked the youth to prepare themselves to play their due role in the democratic movement for change under the leadership of Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. He said that MYL was making earnest efforts to awaken the youth of the country by reaching out to them proactively. He said that the youth of Pakistan were determined to work for establishment of real democracy in the country.

Shoaib Tahir said that the powers that be and opposition were hurting the self-esteem of the nation in the name of so-called democracy so that they could not be able to think beyond the fulfillment of their immediate needs and continue to submit themselves to the elite-dominated system.
Javed Asghar Jaja, President of MYL (Islamabad chapter), said on the occasion that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri’s vision of carving out 35 provinces out of Pakistan’s existing administrative structure and devolution of power to the local institutions was reflective of real change. He said that if the power could be entrusted to real representatives of the people, the nation could be rid of the raging scourge of terrorism, militancy, inflation and dearness.
Sheikh Iqbal said that the workers of MYL were ready to render the greatest of sacrifices to put the country on the path of sustainable democracy that would lead the country socio-economic development.
Mansoor Qasim, President of MYL (Rawalpindi chapter) said that it was now time to work for the realization of Pakistan’s dream with the same vigor and passion with which our forefathers worked hard during the freedom struggle. He said that MYL was out in the streets and bazars of Pakistan organizing the youth for peaceful and democratic change in the country.
Sheikh Iqbal, President of Federal Area, said in his remarks that the workers of MYL would convey the message of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri to the youth throughout the country.
