Prominent personalities to attend Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference (S.A.W.)
The 28th International Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference (SAW) will be held on February 4 (Saturday) at the Minar-e-Pakistan under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. Arrangements have been completed in this regard. The delegations from different parts of the world including Saudi Arabia, India, Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE, UK, France, Holland, Spain, USA, Japan and Egypt have started arriving. Hundreds of thousands of people from all the four provinces including AJ&K, and GB would attend the Conference. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will deliver his special address through video conferencing. The Vice Chancellor of Al-Azhar University will be the chief guest on the occasion.
Jawad Hamid, Secretary of the central administrative committee, expressed these views while addressing the last meeting convened to oversee the arrangements here in Lahore today. He said that representatives of other faiths and religions and notables belonging to various walks of life will attend the mega event of MQI. The proceedings of the Conference would begin after the Isha prayers and conclude till Fajr prayer.
