PAT denounces Lahore attacks
Expressing his deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious human lives in the bomb blasts in Gamay Shah and Bhati chowk, Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani, president of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, has condemned the perpetrators of this heinous crime in the strongest possible words. He said that such activities were anti-state, and were aimed at bringing a bad name to the country in the comity of nation. He said that attack on the religious places was a well thought our policy, for terrorists wanted to ignite sectarian fires thereby plunging the country into sectarian fights. He said that the provision of security was the first and foremost duty of the government and unending spate of terrorism proved that the government had failed in discharging this fundamental task. He asked the government to work out a comprehensive policy against terrorism so that people’s lives, property and honour could be saved.
