First Phase of Pakistan Awami Tehreek's Intra-Party Elections Completed

The first phase of Pakistan Awami Tehreek's intra-party elections has been completed. The Intra-Party Election Commission officially announced the results for the central and Lahore organizational offices. Qazi Zahid Hussain has been elected as the Central President of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, while Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has been elected as the General Secretary. Engineer Muhammad Ahmed Malik Ikhwan has been elected as the President of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Lahore, and Muhammad Saqib Khurram Bhatti has been elected as the General Secretary of Lahore.
From Lahore, candidates for the president’s position included Makhdoom Gulzar Hussain, Dr. Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry, and Engineer Muhammad Ahmed Malik Ikhwan, while Engineer Shafqat Ali Mughal and Saqib Khurram Bhatti contested for the position of General Secretary. Following the announcement of the election results, congratulations began to pour in for the newly elected officials.
The newly elected central and district office-bearers have expressed their commitment to adopting effective strategies to further strengthen the organization and enhance public outreach campaigns. They also vowed to advance the ideological mission of Pakistan Awami Tehreek and its journey of public service with renewed energy.
The Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s intra-party elections, Rana Fayaz Ahmed Khan, Secretary of the Election Commission Sardar Ghazanfar Hussain Advocate, and members Engineer Muhammad Rafiq Najm, Syed Amjad Ali Shah, and Naeemuddin Chaudhry Advocate, announced the results.
