In Lahore, Ahmad Malik Akhwan elected President and Saqib Khurram Bhatti elected General Secretary

The first phase of Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s (PAT) intra-party elections has been successfully completed. The Intra-Party Election Commission formally announced the results for the central and Lahore organizational positions. According to the official declaration, Qazi Zahid Hussain has been elected as the Central President of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, while Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has been elected as the Secretary General.
For the Lahore chapter, Engineer Muhammad Ahmad Malik Akhwan was elected President, and Muhammad Saqib Khurram Bhatti was elected General Secretary.
From Lahore, the candidates for the office of President included Makhdoom Gulzar Hussain, Dr. Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, and Engineer Muhammad Ahmad Malik Akhwan, while Engineer Shafqat Ali Mughal and Saqib Khurram Bhatti contested for the position of General Secretary.
As the results were announced, congratulations began to pour in for the newly elected office bearers from party members and supporters across the country.
In their victory statements, the newly elected central and district leaders expressed their resolve to strengthen organizational structure and make the public outreach campaign more vibrant and effective. They also pledged to advance Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s ideological mission and commitment to public service with renewed energy and dedication.
The results were announced by the Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, Rana Fayaz Ahmad Khan, along with Secretary Election Commission Sardar Ghazanfar Hussain Advocate, and members Engineer Muhammad Rafiq Najam, Syed Amjad Ali Shah, and Naeem-ud-Din Chaudhry Advocate.
