Khurram Nawaz Gandapur expresses condolences on the martyrdom of Maulana Hamid-ul-Haq Haqqani
Secretary General of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, strongly condemned the suicide bombing at Jamia Haqqania Akora Khattak, stating that those who target places of worship are enemies of Islam and humanity. He said that the martyrdom of renowned religious and political leader Maulana Hamid-ul-Haq Haqqani is an attack on the peace of the country.
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur described the Akora Khattak bombing as an act of cowardly terrorism and an unforgivable crime.
Expressing his condolences to the families of the martyrs and praying for the speedy recovery of the injured, he remarked that Maulana Hamid-ul-Haq Haqqani’s martyrdom is a great loss to the nation as it has been deprived of a prominent Islamic scholar.
He emphasized that no words can fully condemn this cowardly act. He called for an immediate investigation into this tragic incident and for the terrorists to be brought to justice with exemplary punishment.
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur further stated, “Ulema (religious scholars) have always been ambassadors of peace, and attacks on them are essentially attacks on the stability of the country.” He extended his condolences to the families of the martyrs and prayed that "May Allah grant them patience and bestow the martyrs with the highest ranks in Jannah (Paradise).
