Youth APC calls for resignation of the Abbasi government
An APC consisting of the senior leaders of youth wings of 18 leading political parties of the country demanded of the Abbasi government to go home for its role in protecting the corrupt and change in the text of declaration form regarding finality of the prophethood. Cases should be registered against the ministers who are criticizing judiciary and army for their vested political interests. All the family members who are involved in the Panama papers case should be placed on ECL and those found to be responsible for change in the text of declaration form should be meted out strict punishment. Action should be taken against the members of parliament that have their relationship with the proscribed organizations.
These resolutions were passed in the APC held under the banner of PAT the other day. Another resolution demanded the release of Justice Najfi Commission report and dispensation of justice to the family members of the martyrs. Those who attended the Youth APC included ISF, Muslim Students Federation-Q, Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba, Anjuman Talaba-e-Islam, Imamia Students Federation, Wahdat Youth, Peoples Youth Organization, State Youth Parliament and MQM Youth Wings.
Mazhar Mahmood Alvi, President of PAT-Youth Wing, welcomed the delegates and leaders of different youth organizations on their arrival at the central secretariat. He mooted the suggestion of forming National Youth Alliance to fashioning collective viewpoint on the national issues, which was duly approved.
PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur attended the concluding session on a special invitation. Addressing the audience, he underlined the need of unity among the youth of Pakistan. He said that in order to rid Pakistan of corruption, terrorism and other challenges, it is high time that our youth identified their role and forged unity in their ranks.
The Youth APC strongly condemned the amendment in the law to pave the way for making an ousted prime minister the head of his party, stating that this act has humiliated and insulted the democracy and parliament.
